Beijing plans to grant 1,000 bedand-breakfast businesses a star-rated status in the five years. The majority of them will be located in rural areas. The move is expected to boost rural tourism, said Kang Sen, spokesman of the Beijing Bureau of Agricultural and Rural Affairs.
