Xiamen University Malaysia is the first overseas campus set up by a Chinese university. The goal is to cultivate high-level professionals with multicultural backgrounds and an ability to deal with complicated international affairs. It’s hailed as a bright pearl of the Belt and Road Initiative. mayor of Zhaotong, Yunnan province, NPC deputy Our villagers now have access to electricity and can travel by road. The local government helped us build new houses. We also have stores, restaurants and farmstays, and villagers can buy things by scanning codes via WeChat. I attribute the transformation to President Xi Jinping and the central leadership.
