South Korea sees imported car sales rise

Imported car sales in South Korea kept rising in November on demand for German luxury models, although the growth rate slowed down, industry data showed. The number of newly registered imported vehicles was 22,387 in November, up 0.5 percent from a year earlier, according to the Korea Automobile Importers & Distributo­rs Associatio­n. The growth rate was down from a 23.6 percent increase in October. In the first 11 months of this year, imported car sales grew 13 percent to 240,255 units compared with the same period last year.
