New Horizons Principal Investigator Alan Stern gives a high five to Mission Operations Manager Alice Bowman after they received signals at Johns Hopkins University in Maryland, US on Tuesday from the flyby of Ultima Thule by the New Horizons spacecraft. At 6.5 billion km away, it is the most distant ever flyby of an object in our solar system.
