Enraged Pliskova attacks ump’s chair

World No 5 Karolina Pliskova lost her cool over a line call and bashed a hole in the umpire’s chair with her racket after losing 3-6, 6-3, 7-5 to Maria Sakkari in Wednesday’s Italian Open second round.

Pliskova argued heatedly with umpire Marta Mrozinska after her shot was called out when serving at 30-30 and 5-5 in the final set.
