A girl en­joys tra­di­tional food to cel­e­brate the Kongpo New Year in Ny­ingchi, Ti­bet au­tonomous re­gion, on Wed­nes­day night. The day, the first of the tenth month of the Ti­betan cal­en­dar, is seen as the start of a new year and the grand­est fes­ti­val in the Kongpo area of Ny­ingchi. It is the ear­li­est lo­cal new year in China.
