理想之城 Ideal city 近日，在一项关于全球科学家最理想工作城市的调查 中，上海在5个中国城市中排名第一。 Shanghai is the most ideal city for scientists to work in China, according to a report released by Shanghai Institute for Science of Science and Springer Nature. 根据上海市科学学研究所与施普林格·自然集团发布的一份报告，上海是科学家在中国最理想的工作城市。报告显示，在全球654名一线科学家(top-level scientists)中，约1.8%的科学家选择将上海选为在中国首选的工作城市(chose Shanghai as their first choice for a place to work in China) ，北京、香港、深圳和杭州紧随其后。在全球22个创新城市(innovative cities) 的总体排名中，上海位列第16位，排名前5位的城市依次是波士顿、旧金山(湾区)、伦敦、纽约和柏林。报告显示，科技创新资源(innovation resources) 和条件硬件优秀，是上海对全球科学家的主要吸引力。在科学家对于其首选工作城市科技创新环境的评价中，上海在科研基金支持力度方面的得分最高(score highest in terms of research funding support) ，超越了全球排名前两位的波士顿和旧金山(湾区)。上海的其他优势依次是领先科研机构(scientific institution) 科研工作机会(research opportunities) 、高技术产业(high-tech industries)和科研基础设施(scientific research infrastructure)等。而在科学家收入水平(income for scientists) 、国际交流合作机会(international exchange and cooperation opportunities)和创业环境(entrepreneurial environment) 等方面，上海表现相对较弱。受调查科学家普遍期望上海能够进一步提升科技创新对外开放程度(further enhance the degree of openness in technological innovation) ，给海外学者提供融入上海科技创新体系(integrate into Shanghai’s science and technology innovation system) ，参与全球科创中心
