Online shopping maintains momentum
Online shopping maintained a recordbreaking trend for two straight months in South Korea due to the convenience of shopping in the cyberspace, a government report showed on Wednesday. Transactions in the cyberspace reached 10.6 trillion won ($9.5 billion) in November, up 22.1 percent from a year earlier, according to Statistics Korea. It surpassed the previous high of 10.04 trillion won tallied in October, topping $9 billion for the second consecutive month.
