Puppet show gets a modern look

Born in 1955, Huang Wen-Chang is the fourth generation heir of the Yunlin Puppet Show family in Taiwan. He is also chairman of Pili International Multimedia Co. “The puppet show is part of Chinese culture. I want to make it strong,” he said. Driven by this ideal, he inherited and promoted his own puppet show when he was 26. To meet the diversified demand, Huang added a large number of special filmic effects to the show. He has imported a large number of Hollywood film techniques and uses computer animation and digital audio production to make the images, sound and lighting effects more attractive.
