Industrial output goes down by 1.3% in France

France’s industrial output fell 1.3 percent in November from a month earlier amid decline of coke and energy production, the national statistics bureau Insee said. France, one of the world’s leading exporters of manufactur­ed goods, saw production of coke and refined petroleum sector decline by 10.6 percent “because of strikes in factories,” Insee said. Manufactur­ing activities also fell by 1.4 percent in the period, Insee added.
