Xi Jin­ping Pres­i­dent of the Peo­ple’s Repub­lic of China

Xi Jin­ping, male, Han eth­nic­ity, was born in June 1953 and is from Fup­ing, Shaanxi Prov­ince. He be­gan his first job in Jan­uary 1969 and joined the Com­mu­nist Party of China (CPC) in Jan­uary 1974. Xi grad­u­ated from School of Hu­man­i­ties and So­cial Sci­ences, Ts­inghua Univer­sity where he com­pleted an in-ser­vice grad­u­ate pro­gram in Marx­ist the­ory and ide­o­log­i­cal and po­lit­i­cal ed­u­ca­tion. He holds a Doc­tor of Law de­gree.

Xi is cur­rently Gen­eral Sec­re­tary of the CPC Cen­tral Com­mit­tee, Chair­man of the CPC Cen­tral Mil­i­tary Com­mis­sion, Pres­i­dent of the Peo­ple’s Repub­lic of China (PRC), and Chair­man of the PRC Cen­tral Mil­i­tary Com­mis­sion.

Wang Qis­han Vice Pres­i­dent of the Peo­ple’s Repub­lic of China

Wang Qis­han, male, Han eth­nic­ity, was born in July 1948 and is from Tianzhen, Shanxi Prov­ince. He be­gan his first job in Jan­uary 1969 and joined the Com­mu­nist Party of China (CPC) in Fe­bru­ary 1983. Wang grad­u­ated from the Univer­sity Reg­u­lar Class at the Depart­ment of His­tory at North­west Univer­sity, China, with a ma­jor in his­tory. He is a se­nior econ­o­mist.

He is cur­rently Vice Pres­i­dent of the Peo­ple’s Repub­lic of China (PRC).

PRC Cen­tral Mil­i­tary Com­mis­sion Xi Jin­ping Chair­man of the PRC Cen­tral Mil­i­tary Com­mis­sion NPC Stand­ing Com­mit­tee Li Zhan­shu Chair­man of the 13th NPC Stand­ing Com­mit­tee

Li Zhan­shu, male, Han eth­nic­ity, was born in Au­gust 1950 and is from Ping­shan, He­bei Prov­ince. He be­gan his first job in De­cem­ber 1972 and joined the Com­mu­nist Party of China ( CPC) in April 1975. Li grad­u­ated from Depart­ment of Po­lit­i­cal Ed­u­ca­tion, Night Col­lege, He­bei Nor­mal Univer­sity where he com­pleted an in-ser­vice un­der­grad­u­ate pro­gram. He holds an ex­ec­u­tive MBA de­gree.

Li is cur­rently a mem­ber of the Stand­ing Com­mit­tee of the 19th CPC Cen­tral Com­mit­tee Po­lit­i­cal Bureau and Chair­man of the Stand­ing Com­mit­tee of the 13th Na­tional Peo­ple’s Congress.

State Coun­cil Li Ke­qiang Premier of the State Coun­cil

Li Ke­qiang, male, Han eth­nic­ity, was born in July 1955 and is from Dingyuan, An­hui Prov­ince. He be­gan his first job in March 1974 and joined the Com­mu­nist Party of China (CPC) in May 1976. Li is a grad­u­ate of Pek­ing Univer­sity’s Law Depart­ment where he earned a Bach­e­lor of Law de­gree, and of the univer­sity’s School of Eco­nomics where he com­pleted an in-ser­vice grad­u­ate pro­gram in eco­nomics and was awarded a Doc­tor of Eco­nomics de­gree.

Li is cur­rently a mem­ber of the Stand­ing Com­mit­tee of the 19th CPC Cen­tral Com­mit­tee Po­lit­i­cal Bureau, Premier of the State Coun­cil, and Sec­re­tary of its Lead­ing Party Mem­bers Group.

Na­tional Su­per­vi­sory Com­mis­sion Yang Xiaodu Di­rec­tor of the Na­tional Su­per­vi­sory Com­mis­sion

Yang Xiaodu, male, Han eth­nic­ity, was born in Oc­to­ber 1953 and is from Shang­hai. He be­gan his first job in May 1970 and joined the Com­mu­nist Party of China (CPC) in Septem­ber 1973. He re­ceived a grad­u­ate de­gree at the Cen­tral Party School.

Yang is cur­rently a mem­ber of the CPC Cen­tral Com­mit­tee Po­lit­i­cal Bureau, a mem­ber of the CPC Cen­tral Com­mit­tee Sec­re­tar­iat, Deputy Sec­re­tary of the Cen­tral Com­mis­sion for Dis­ci­pline In­spec­tion and Di­rec­tor of the Na­tional Su­per­vi­sory Com­mis­sion.

Supreme Peo­ple’s Court Zhou Qiang Pres­i­dent of the Supreme Peo­ple’s Court

Zhou Qiang, male, Han eth­nic­ity, was born in April 1960 and is from Huang­mei, Hubei Prov­ince. He be­gan his first job in Au­gust 1976 and joined the Com­mu­nist Party of China (CPC) in Septem­ber 1978. He grad­u­ated from the South­west Univer­sity of Po­lit­i­cal Sci­ence and Law where he com­pleted a grad­u­ate pro­gram in civil law. He holds a Mas­ter of Law de­gree.

Zhou is cur­rently a mem­ber of the 19th CPC Cen­tral Com­mit­tee, Pres­i­dent of the Supreme Peo­ple’s Court, and Sec­re­tary of its Lead­ing Party Mem­bers Group.

Supreme Peo­ple’s Procu­ra­torate Zhang Jun Procu­ra­tor-gen­eral of the Supreme Peo­ple’s Procu­ra­torate

Zhang Jun, male, Han eth­nic­ity, was born in Oc­to­ber 1956 and is from Boxing, Shan­dong Prov­ince. He be­gan his first job in Jan­uary 1973 and joined the Com­mu­nist Party of China (CPC) in May 1974. He grad­u­ated from the Law Depart­ment at Ren­min Univer­sity of China where he com­pleted a grad­u­ate pro­gram in crim­i­nal law. He holds a Doc­tor of Law de­gree.

Zhang is cur­rently a mem­ber of the 19th CPC Cen­tral Com­mit­tee, Procu­ra­tor-gen­eral of the Supreme Peo­ple’s Procu­ra­torate and Sec­re­tary of its Lead­ing Party Mem­bers Group.
