The ex­hi­bi­tion presents 29 works from 23 artists from dif­fer­ent coun­tries around the world, cov­er­ing forms of paint­ing, in­ter­ac­tive de­vices, pho­tog­ra­phy, video and more to take pa­trons to visit dif­fer­ent cities and re­gions. By care­fully sort­ing cross-re­gional dif­fer­ences in the cul­tural con­text, the ex­hi­bi­tion en­deav­ors to help open win­dows of knowl­edge and in­spire ex­plo­ration of dis­cov­er­ing the un­known.

The ex­hi­bi­tion is co-spon­sored by the Rock­bund Art Mu­seum in Shang­hai and the Fon­dazione San­dretto Re Re­bau­dengo, one of the most renowned con­tem­po­rary art in­sti­tu­tions in Italy. Most works are from the col­lec­tion of the Fon­dazione San­dretto Re Re­bau­dengo, which hang among cre­ations by two Shang­hai artists.
