Building a sustainable home is a common goal of all mankind. Moving away from the traditional development model that sacrificed the environment for economic growth, China has embarked on a road of green and sustainable development, and the drive to build an ecological civilization is impacting everyone’s life across the board.

Over the past five years, notable ecological progress has been made across the country.

The institutional mechanism to promote ecological progress has steadily improved, pollution control has seen encouraging improvement, green development has as achieved remarkable results and the quality of ecological cal environment has been continuously enhanced. The idea ea that “clear waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets” ets” is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people and has in- - creasingly achieved broad consensus across society.

As harmonious coexistence between human and nature actually becomes reality, a brand new scroll of green reen China is unrolling in front of us.
