The ex­hi­bi­tion fea­tures more than 20 oil paint­ings by He Duol­ing, a fa­mous con­tem­po­rary Chi­nese painter, pre­sented in a three-story space. Th­ese paint­ings in­clude en­light­en­ment works based on his mother’s teach­ing dur­ing his child­hood, hero­ism com­plex works of the 1990s, paint­ings about the fragility of man and na­ture, and de­tailed and sen­si­tive por­traits of his un­der­stand­ing of the essence of life af­ter 2000.

He Duol­ing, born in Chengdu, south­west­ern China’s Sichuan Province in 1948, is a rep­re­sen­ta­tive con­tem­po­rary lyri­cal re­al­ist Chi­nese oil painter. He cur­rently lives in Chengdu. He has won var­i­ous awards at home and abroad and his works have been fea­tured in sev­eral ex­hi­bi­tions.
