Wan­der­ing Land: Solo Ex­hi­bi­tion of Su Wong-shen

This ex­hi­bi­tion presents 60 pieces, pri­mar­ily oil paint­ings and sculp­tures, by Tai­wanese artist Su Wong-shen over the last decade, as well as the in­stal­la­tion work Bridge spe­cially de­signed for the Long Mu­seum ( West Bund) in Shang­hai.

Su’s works, char­ac­ter­ized by self-re­flec­tion and echoes of real life states, of­ten con­tain dogs, bal­loons, trees, clouds and other el­e­ments. Born in 1956 in China’s Tai­wan, Su lives and works in Tainan City. Pre­vi­ously, he al­ready held sev­eral solo ex­hi­bi­tions in­clud­ing “An­i­mal Farm: The Paint­ings of Su Wong-shen” at Taipei Fine Arts Mu­seum in 2015.
