- Yang Yinkai

Abstract: National wealth is the total stock of materials and goods of a country and nationals, it can reflect the overall national strength and sustainability of the development, and its accumulation efficiency can reflect the development quality. Since the reform and opening up, China’s national wealth has grown rapidly, fully demonstrating the advantages of the socialism with Chinese characteristics in the path and system. However, with poor development and low investment efficiency in some regions and industries, the generated GDP fails to form the national wealth effectively. In this paper, we outlined the basic connotation of national wealth, analyzed the distribution characteristics of national wealth growth in China, carded the important guidelines of General Secretary Xi Jinping on promoting the growth of national wealth, and proposed the idea of an institutional system for high-quality growth of national wealth based on these guidelines and the development situation.
