PROBLEMS AND SUGGESTIONS ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF DIGITAL ECONOMY FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF EPIDEMIC PREVENTION AND CONTROL OF COVID-19

Abstract: Since the outbreak of COVID-19, Chinese digital economy enterprises have played an irreplaceable role in preventing and controlling the epidemic, promoting the consumption and stabilizing the growth, helping resume work and production, improving people's life, and maintaining the social stability. This epidemic is a profound test for China's digital economy, it has sped up the digital transformation in various areas of the economy and society, and also exposed the problems, such as the weak digital basis of traditional industries, poor integration with the real economy, low level of data openness and sharing, and smart society's failure to catch up with the needs of social governance. We recommend seizing the important opportunity after learning from the painful experience in the epidemic, and focusing on the deep integration of digital economy and real economy to speed up the digital transformation of traditional industries; promoting the sharing and legal use of data to speed up improving the data governance policy; promoting the modernization of social governance to facilitate the construction of a smart society; boosting the innovative development of the digital economy to speed up improving laws and regulations and abolishing the institutional obstacles.
