Namibian Youth Space bound

A final-year master of environmental engineering student at the Namibia University of Science and Technology has been elected to the

Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) representing Africa. As regional coordinator for Africa on the SGAC, he will be the voice of the next generation of young space leaders in Africa for two years. Shimhanda says the global political landscape is very unpredictable, thus Namibia can’t rely on foreign satellite services forever, hence enrolling for this course.
