development of the country’s new generation of artificial intelligence. Botswana’s President Mokgweetsi Masisi has highlighted the private sector’s role as the engine of economic growth. Addressing the 45th meeting of the High Level Consultative Council (HLCC) in Gaborone, the capital of Botswana, Masisi said it has been a longterm strategy to facilitate the private sector to ensure that its role as the engine of economic growth in that country becomes reality. HLCC is meant to promote public-private sector dialogue on issues of national interest. According to Masisi, the government is in the process of developing a National Transformation Strategy.
