Exchange program in CUC to Norway in Spring 2019
According to the student exchange agreement signed between Communication University of China (CUC) and Norwegian universities, CUC will send outstanding students to study in Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences HIOA for one semester or one academic year from January to June 2019. Students can choose the courses offered by HIOA that are similar or necessary to what they are required to learn, and the credits are to be recognized by the CUC. There are 2 places in this program and the requirements are as follows: undergraduate students with GPA over 3 (4. 0 credit system) and master students passing all subjects; good conduct, good health, adaptive to life and study in new environment, good performance in their studies in HIOA; good command of foreign languages, able to comprehend lectures, work and take exams in HIOA; no experience in overseas exchange programs organized by the school during the study period. All the teaching projects of the institute adopt an open concept of running a school with a high degree of integration of the school, enterprises, and the community. The cultivation plan under the framework of three major systems and four major characteristics aim to develop students to future business leaders with an international vision, cross- cultural communication skills, and independent thinking and life skills. The students should be enrolled in a one-year preparatory course at South China Institute of Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) and then return to international business school to complete business course and gain the credits (about 1/3 of the total credits of a foreign university), and finally she/ he will go abroad to partnership university to continue with the remaining courses (about two years) and be accredited with a bachelor's degree by the ministry of education upon completion of the course.
Majors in this program include finance, accounting, marketing, business administration, investment, economics, entrepreneurship, banking, information management, real estate development, green economy, metrology, human resources, international business, logistics management, e-commerce, public relations, tourism and hotel management, exhibition management, and so on. The partnership universities include those in England, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and France.
The lectures will be taught in English and in a style of Chinese and western combination. A second foreign language is required in the program as a minor language, and special business courses are set up as well. The courses in this program are seamlessly connected with those in international universities since the program adopts international teaching method and students from all over the world are lectured in the same way.
