All the teaching projects of the institute adopt an open concept of running a school with a high degree of integration of the school, enterprises, and the community. The cultivation plan under the framework of three major systems and four major characteristics aim to develop students to future business leaders with an international vision, cross- cultural communication skills, and independent thinking and life skills. The students should be enrolled in a one-year preparatory course at South China Institute of Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) and then return to international business school to complete business course and gain the credits (about 1/3 of the total credits of a foreign university), and finally she/ he will go abroad to partnership university to continue with the remaining courses (about two years) and be accredited with a bachelor's degree by the ministry of education upon completion of the course.
