First, the pur­pose of col­lege ed­u­ca­tion is to strengthen moral ed­u­ca­tion and cul­ti­vate peo­ple, to de­velop ta­lents for the so­cial­ism mod­ern­iza­tion. Stu­dents of lan­guage ma­jors shall have both pa­tri­o­tism and strong com­mit­ment to the Chi­nese re­ju­ve­na­tion.

Sec­ond, it is im­por­tant to have a spirit of in­no­va­tion. The in­no­va­tion is a ba­sic qual­ity of ev­ery col­lege stu­dent and the im­prove­ment of in­no­va­tion re­quires both solid fun­da­men­tal skills and mas­tery of both Chi­nese and for­eign cul­tural knowl­edge.

Third, it is im­por­tant to have a sense of in­ter­na­tional rules and reg­u­la­tions. The in­ter­na­tional com­mu­ni­ca­tions re­quire a deep knowl­edge of in­ter­na­tional rules, prac­tices and re­la­tions.

Fi­nally, the col­lege stu­dents shall have good men­tal and phys­i­cal health. They shall have more ex­er­cises and keep a healthy mind, thus they can achieve self-im­prove­ment, ben­e­fit the so­ci­ety and serve the coun­try.
