Abstract: [ Objectives] The wind tunnel and circulating water channel are important experimental equipment in fluid mechanics. In order to efficiently form aerodynamic/hydrodynamic design solutions in advance, a CFD-based design program is developed.[Methods]The assembly entity includes 3D modeling, grid autogeneration, viscous flow field solution and CFD post-processing. One-click operation is realized in the program from initial parameter entry to optimized target parameter output, thereby the working load and time consuming is reduced on modifying models and grid processes. Further, the feasibility and convenience of the proposed program are then verified with reference to the wind tunnel and circulating water channel of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.[ Results] It is proved that the proposed design program and performance prediction have a good credibility and easy to use.[Conclusions]The program proposed in this study possesses certain theoretical and practical innovation, as well as high-value engineering application potential.
