Cases of Experience of HUANG Hai-bo in Treating Dysmenorrh­ea

Abstract: This article summarized Professor HUANG Hai-bo’s treatment for dysmenorrh­ea with related cases. Professor HUANG considers that the pain is based on “the pain of not nourish” and “the pain of obstructed”. The former cause is weak in qi and blood, with can be cured by modified Danggui Buxue Decoction. The latter is mainly caused by cold blood stasis or cold, which can be cured by Shaofu Zhuyu Decoction and modified Wenjing Decoction in Jin Gui.
