In time for ASEAN’s 50th anniversary this August, Philippine Airlines is resuming services between Manila and Kuala Lumpur after dropping the route three years ago due to high fuel prices and competition from low-cost carriers. The narrow-body Airbus A321—which offers 199 seats across three classes—will be deployed for the service, with daily flights starting on June 8 ( philippineairlines.com).
