Peru­vian celebrity chef Diego Muñoz has been lead­ing a no­madic ex­is­tence as of late, and he’s put his stamp firmly on the open-air res­tau­rant at Ulu Cliff­house, the new­est beach club to grace Bali’s Bukit penin­sula. But the eclec­tic, cross-cul­tural menu in­spired by his global trav­els is just one rea­son to make time for this 4,600-squareme­ter play­ground on the clifftops of Uluwatu. There’s also an in­fin­ity pool and day beds swad­dled in mod­ernist sur­round­ings that re­call 1950s Palm Springs, and, half­way down the cliff face, the can­tilevered ter­races of the Rock Bar, ac­cessed from the pool­side area by a wind­ing stair­way. The tunes here are another high­light. Ulu Cliff­house has now re­cruited pro­ducer and com­poser Neil McLel­lan—best known for his work with elec­tronic mu­sic legends The Prodigy—to helm the mu­si­cal team. And with an in-house record­ing stu­dio set to stream live shows, an art space, and a life­style bou­tique on the grounds, there should be more than enough to woo rev­el­ers from trendy Seminyak ( ulu­cliff­
