Rewards Programs Cathay Pacific
The latest updates to Cathay’s Asia Miles rewards program allows for greater earnings on 80 percent of all tickets, with those traveling from Hong Kong to Sydney in economy earning twice as many points. The number of redeemable seats has also risen by at least 20 percent on all sectors, and all flight awards have been set as one-way for even greater flexibility. For frequent fliers between Singapore and Hong Kong, a round-trip redemption booking will require a third fewer miles than before ( cathaypacific.com). New Aircraft Philippine Airlines As part of an ambitious fleet renewal program, Philippine Airlines recently introduced a brand-new Airbus A321neo with business-class seats that convert to fully flat two-meter beds. The jet has now been deployed on the carrier’s Manila– Brisbane route, making it the first narrowbody flight to Australia with fully flat seats in business class. 20 more A321neos will eventually serve other routes throughout the Asia-Pacific region, and Philippine Airlines will also roll out the A350-900 on its long-haul services to New York in the middle of the year, followed by London ( philippineairlines.com).
Manila–Melbourne Cebu Pacific
