Situated at the mouth of the Singapore River, The Fullerton
Hotel Singapore occupies a handsome neoclassical building that was originally home to Singapore’s General Post Office. With its grand architecture and stylish contemporary interiors, the 400-room property offers a perfect blend of the old and the new. Full of character, the rooms and suites are uniquely configured due to the nature of the building’s heritage status, though all share the same elegant aesthetic. Dining establishments include Jade for sophisticated Chinese cuisine; Town Restaurant, with its alfresco riverside terrace and a menu of local and international flavors; and The Courtyard, where afternoon tea is served under the skylights of the soaring central atrium. There’s also a collection of specially curated activities dubbed Fullerton Experiences that include everything from vintage sidecar tours and hands-on perfume workshops to sustainable farm tours.
In Australia, The Fullerton Hotel Sydney has breathed new life into the city’s former General Post Office building, a late-19th-century landmark that is considered the finest example of the Victorian Italian Renaissance style in New South Wales. Guests can choose between contemporary rooms in the highrise section of the property and the more classically inspired options in the heritage building. Situated near iconic landmarks such as Darling Harbour, the Royal Botanic Garden, and the Sydney Opera House, as well as theaters and noteworthy restaurants, The Fullerton Hotel Sydney has its own impressive culinary lineup, including The Place for authentic Southeast Asian cuisine and creative Modern Australian dishes, and an indulgent afternoon tea experience at The Bar in the hotel lobby.
Just a 10-minute walk away on Collyer Quay, The Fullerton Bay
Hotel Singapore boasts scenestealing views of the Marina Bay waterfront and city skyline. Created by Hong Kong-based designer André Fu, the shimmering interiors mix contemporary chic with timeless elegance, evoking the glamour of a bygone era. Making the most of their waterfront perch, the 100 spacious rooms and suites all feature floor-to-ceiling windows and balconies, while some come with private Jacuzzis. Dining options range from classic French fare at La Brasserie to Singaporean heritage dishes at The Clifford Pier, a 1933 art deco structure that once welcomed immigrants to these shores. Guests can also enjoy a classic afternoon tea at The Landing Point, or soak up the views of Marina Bay over a G&T at the alfresco Gin Parlour.
And joining the Fullerton family next year is the group’s first property in Hong Kong, as well as its first resort worldwide. Located in the Southside of Hong Kong Island, The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel Hong Kong is a sustainable luxury oceanfront resort offering spectacular sea views from each of its 420 well-appointed guest rooms, which include two ultra-luxurious top-floor suites with private pools on their terraces. The family-friendly property also has kid-themed rooms, an indoor kids’ zone, and a kids’ lagoon situated next to the main infinity pool. The Fullerton Experiences program here will explore the city’s marine biodiversity and other neighborhood attractions.
