Sailing into the Future
Next year sees the launch of Oceania Cruises’ newest ship, Vista, with a lineup of destinationrich voyages that you can book today.
Anew level of comfort and residential-style luxury awaits cruise-goers on board Vista, which joins the Oceania Cruises fleet in early 2023 with an inaugural itinerary of 18 voyages spanning more than 24 countries across four continents. Built to exacting standards in Italy, the 1,200-passenger vessel will exemplify all the hallmarks of the Oceania Cruises experience that guests have come to expect, from The Finest Cuisine at Sea® to exceptionally personalized service, with two crew members for every three guests. Passengers can also look forward to immersive destination experiences delivered with a fresh perspective, whether in iconic cities such as Venice and Lisbon or the lesser-trodden shores of Stornoway and Kavala.
All of Vista’s staterooms and suites feature private verandas and a luxurious residential-style ambience; Penthouse, Oceania, and Vista suites are ultra-spacious and true sea-going residences with an abundance of living and dining space for entertaining or simply relaxing. For the first time in its 20-year history, Oceania is also adding staterooms designed specifically for solo travelers, meaning that those traveling alone will no longer have to pay a supplemental fee for occupying a cabin meant for two. As part of the Concierge Level of accommodations, the singleoccupancy cabins will also offer guests additional amenities such as priority embarkation, access to the exclusive Concierge lounge, a complimentary bottle of Champagne, and more.
Cuisine is a highlight of any Oceania cruise and Vista will be no exception. The ship will offer no less than 12 culinary venues, which is unprecedented for a vessel of its size. The Grand Dining Room is the luxurious grand dame of Oceania Cruises’ culinary world, featuring signature Jacques Pépin classics, an incredible spectrum of global flavors, and an all-new Executive Chef’s Tasting Menu. Pan-Asian restaurant Red Ginger, Polo Grill steakhouse, and elegant, Tuscanyfocused Toscana are also included in the impressive lineup, as are Ember, the signature addition to Oceania Cruises’ family of restaurants, and Aquamar Kitchen, which presents a decidedly fresh perspective on dining and the pursuit of wellness-inspired indulgence.
Other onboard highlights include eight bars, lounges, and entertainment venues, a spa and wellness center, and a uniquely modern beach-club cabana.
The Vista’s maiden voyage will begin on April 14, 2023, departing from Rome and sailing to Barcelona on a 12-day itinerary that stops at Capri, Valletta, Monte Carlo, and other beguiling ports of call. The ship will continue exploring the Mediterranean for ten more unique itineraries — including a 12-day Venice to Athens cruise (May 20–June 1) and a 14-day voyage between Istanbul and Rome (June 11–June 25) — before heading to London and then crossing the Atlantic in August for an exciting lineup of North and South American sailings.
