DUSIT THANI LAGUNA SINGAPORE
From the doorman’s welcoming “sawadee kap” to the some of the dishes on offer at the Greenhouse restaurant, Thai traditions and hospitality are never far away at Dusit International’s first property in Singapore. Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore debuted in late-2020 on the grounds of the Laguna National Golf Resort Club and has since delighted guests with its serene setting, curvilinear architecture, and enticing lineup of dining venues.
The low-slung urban resort comprises 198 rooms and suites across 11 room categories, each one exuding contemporary Asian chic. Niceties include a complimentary Dusit Balance minibar stocked with healthy snacks and natural sodas, Lavazza espresso machines, a selection of Ronnefeldt teas, and botanical amenities by Thai aromatherapy brand Nature Touch or L’Occitane.
On the dining front, the aforementioned Greenhouse is a lush, forest-themed allday restaurant with five show kitchens turning out an array of cuisines, from Thai classics to Japanese, Mediterranean, Chinese, and Indian tandoor dishes available for buffets or à la carte dining. For those who prefer to dine outdoors, there’s Tee Deck, a poolside bar and grill overlooking the Masters Course and the vast swath of mounds and dunes beyond. The menu includes popular Thai street fare and a selection of healthy dishes during the day, and perfectly chargrilled meats and seafood in the evening. Other food and beverage options include Legends Bar and Dusit Gourmet for fresh pastries and cakes.
Wellness is another drawing card. “Eat Well, Sleep Well” is the mantra of the resort’s Dusit Wellness program, which includes yoga and meditation classes that promote holistic wellbeing. The program also offers a selection of mattress toppers and pillows that allows guests to personalize their sleep experience.
Then there’s Devarana Wellness, the resort’s tranquil Thai-inspired spa.
Pampering and healing treatments range from authentic Thai massage and mineralrich facials to the two-hour Singaporean Delightful Journey, which features a body scrub inspired by the local cendol dessert. Guests looking to keep in shape during their stay can also avail themselves of three swimming pools, the sprawling DFiT fitness center, tennis courts, and, of course, Laguna National’s two acclaimed 18-hole championship golf courses.
