A HOLIDAY FEAST MENU IN BALI

Celebrate the Festive Season at John Hardy Boutique and Gallery, Seminyak’s Long Table for Lunch or a Special Private Dinner Experience

-

IT’S ALWAYS A GOOD TIME to visit the John Hardy Boutique and Gallery in Bali’s vibrant Seminyak neighborhood. Housed in an airy, thatch-roofed building that backs onto a terraced garden, this twostory showroom for the John Hardy jewelry brand tastefully combines Balinese design, artwork, food, and drink in one unique location.

While collections of artisan-made jewelry take pride of place below an oversize coconut-leaf sculpture by local weaving collective Make a Scene, the store is equally renowned for its Indonesian-inspired Long Table lunches, which began as a way for staff, families, and customers to congregate around a meal at the John Hardy Workshop in Mambal, near Ubud. It became an institution, and the tradition continues here in Seminyak, celebrating the finest Indonesian food and preserving the culinary traditions of the island and the many cultures that influence it.

This festive season, the gallery has launched a memorable new menu by Executive Chef Tomy Saputra, based on heritage recipes that see dishes cooked in an age-old style and flavored with traditional spices, using organic local produce. Available from December 1 to 31, the celebratory feast showcases seven savory courses and two dessert offerings, including nasi bakar, a local delicacy of steamed heritage rice wrapped and grilled in banana leaves; Sumatran beef short ribs braised in sweet soy and Balinese spices; fresh local fish grilled with coffee wood over an open fire and served with torch ginger; a smoked tofu dish with peanut sauce and coconut sambal; and much more. Each meal comes with Chef Tomy’s favorite sambal assortment and krupuk crackers.

It all makes John Hardy Boutique and Gallery, Seminyak an unmissable spot for food lovers wanting to immerse themselves in a truly local dining experience and the perfect way to celebrate with friends, family, and holiday visitors. During the festive season, parties of at least 10 can also enjoy a private dinner overlooking the beautifully lit garden.

The festive menu is priced at Rp550,000++ per person, with wine, cocktails and traditional mocktails offered separately. Book at least one day in advance to secure your seat at the table.

The John Hardy Boutique and Gallery, Seminyak is located at Jl. Raya Petitenget, Kerobokan Kelod, Bali. For more information, call +62 (0)361-9344-244 or visit johnhardy.com.
