Analysis of Transmission Protocol in Satellite-to-ground Communication

Abstract: With the continuous development of communication system, satellite communication and ground communication are more and more integrated. But due to the characteristics of high error and high delay in satellite communication, the TCP/IP protocol applied to ground communication network is no longer applicable in satellite communication transmission. In response to the characteristics of satellite communication, CCSDS has modified and perfected the TCP/IP protocol, and proposed a transmission protocol suitable for satellite communication. in this paper ,analysis of transmission protocol in satellite-to-ground communication.

随着通信系统的不断发展,卫星通信逐渐成为

Internet网络的一个重要组成部分,基于卫星通信网络的地面通信网延伸及星地网互联互通逐渐成为通信系统发展的重要趋势。但是,由于空间传输链路与地面传输链路相比存在误码率较大、时延较长,以及信息传输不对称等情况,导致在地面通信

网络传输中广泛使用的TCP/IP协议不再适用于空间网络,进而限制的卫星通信在端到端通信及星地一体化通信中的应用。在此情况下,针对卫星通信

的特点,基于TCP/IP协议改进的SCPS协议应运而生,成为构建卫星通信网络和星地通信网络的重要技术协议。
