Japan leads the way in our 2018 awards celebrating the best in Asian travel, as chosen by the people who really know – Cathay Pacific’s Marco Polo Club members

Last year saw the launch of the Marco Polo Club Members’ Choice Awards, with thousands of Marco Polo Club members voting for their favourite travel experiences across 11 categories.

This year, we’ve taken things to another level, with 25 categories split into five overarching themes of Service, Style, Innovation, Experiences and our home city, Hong Kong.

First, a panel of travel experts met to whittle down a shortlist of options, before the decision was put into the hands of Marco Polo Club members. At the final count, over 13,000 voted.

These awards reflect the views of Asia’s most well-travelled connoisseurs and highlight some of the best hotels, cities and travel experiences in Asia.
