The Ritz-Carl­ton, Tian­jin de­liv­ers ‘A Meet­ing of the Senses’

At The Ritz-Carl­ton, meet­ings and events are any­thing but or­di­nary - they are sen­sory ex­pe­ri­ences that en­liven the par­tic­i­pants and cre­ate mem­o­ries. The Ritz-Carl­ton, Tian­jin has launched a new pro­gram called “A Meet­ing of the Senses,” ded­i­cated to host­ing lux­ury meet­ings and events that cre­ate im­mer­sive ex­pe­ri­ences and of­fer guests a jour­ney across Tian­jin.

A Meet­ing of the Senses com­bines the re­laxed and re­fined en­vi­ron­ments of par­tic­i­pat­ing ho­tels and re­sorts around the globe to set the scene for the skilled staff at The RitzCarl­ton to cre­ate in­no­va­tive meet­ings that awaken the mind, stir cre­ativ­ity and in­ten­sify fo­cus. Ex­pert meet­ing plan­ners draw in­spi­ra­tion from un­likely sources to cu­rate unique and un­ex­pected food and bev­er­age ex­pe­ri­ences, de­velop well­ness-in­spired breaks and per­son­al­ize itin­er­ar­ies that em­brace the en­vi­ron­ment of each in­di­vid­ual ho­tel and des­ti­na­tion.

The staff at The RitzCarl­ton, Tian­jin show­case the des­ti­na­tion’s beauty with the pro­gram “A Jour­ney through Tian­jin,” in which guests will re­ceive a wel­come drink upon ar­rival made by the Tian­jin city flower the China Rose and in-room ameni­ties with lo­cal sweets and a Yan­gli­uqing Paint­ing, one of the many lo­cal folk arts.

The Ritz-Carl­ton, Tian­jin will present the unique art of mak­ing dough fig­urines and Chi­nese paper cut­ting dur­ing tea breaks. Guests will also ex­pe­ri­ence the fa­mous snacks in­clud­ing Go Be­lieve steamed buns, fried dough twists, fried rice cake, Tian­jin pan­cakes and tea soup to el­e­vate their jour­ney through Tian­jin. Nowa­days, plan­ners and at­ten­dees are look­ing to ex­tend their ac­tive life­styles into their meet­ings. To el­e­vate the sights, sounds and tastes of Tian­jin, The RitzCarl­ton, Tian­jin can also plan tailor-made ac­tiv­i­ties dur­ing their stay, in­clud­ing a Tian­jin pan­cake cook­ing class.

The Ritz-Carl­ton, Tian­jin is one of the city’s most ex­trav­a­gant prop­er­ties, with a grand neo-clas­si­cal-style fa­cade and in­te­ri­ors that pay homage to Tian­jin’s past Euro­pean heri- tage. Meet­ing fa­cil­i­ties at the ho­tel in­clude more than 1,735 square me­ters of event and con­fer­ence space. Guests have ac­cess to a 1,050-square-me­ter ball­room, di­vis­i­ble into five sa­lons, three multi-pur­pose func­tion rooms and one board­room. The Ritz-Carl­ton, Tian­jin is 30 min­utes from the Tian­jin Bin­hai In­ter­na­tional Air­port.
