Greece: New visa ap­pli­ca­tion cen­ter opens

A re­cep­tion took place at the Greek Em­bassy in Bei­jing mark­ing the launch of the new Visa Ap­pli­ca­tion Cen­ter for Greece on June 7, draw­ing the par­tic­i­pa­tion of many Chi­nese me­dia out­lets to find out what the lat­est up­dates are for the Greek visa pol­icy.

The new cen­ter in the Hai­long Petroleum Man­sion in Chaoyang district prom­ises to of­fer up­graded qual­ity and ef­fi­cient visa ser­vices to com­plete visa pro­cesses in one or two days with the max­i­mum time up to one week.

At the event, the Greek Am­bas­sador to China Leonidas Rokanas gave an open­ing speech, in which he wel­comed the open­ing of the visa ap­pli­ca­tion cen­ter and ad­dressed the im­por­tance for boost­ing bi­lat­eral in­ter­ac­tion be­tween two an­cient civ­i­liza­tions with great in­flu­ence on the world and how tourism and in­vest­ments play an im­por­tant role in this.

The Pres­i­dent of the sole visa ser­vice provider for Greece Global Visa Cen­ter World (GVCW) Eleft­he­rios Economou also gave a speech, dur­ing which he ex­pressed GVCW’s com­mit­ment to do what­ever it can to de­liver ef­fec­tively and serve the visa needs of Chi­nese peo­ple wish­ing to visit Greece.
