How to Talk to Your Kids about Sex

Global Times – Metro Beijing - - STRATEGIST -

Sexual abuse is happening more and more to young kids. As we condemn the criminals, we should also ask ourselves if we are providing enough sex education to our kids. In most instances, children do not know when they are being sexually assaulted. Avoiding the topic will only arouse more curiosity in our children. They will get the information about sex from other people and from the internet. As parents, we must be aware and protective of the information being disclosed from these channels. If we do not give our children the right education about sex during their early development, it might be too late to prevent something really bad from happening. Talking to your children about sex at the right time and in the right way will help your children to protect themselves and to better understand their bodies.
