As one of the first ski re­sorts in Bei­jing, Huaibei In­ter­na­tional Ski Re­sort cov­ers an area of 9.6 square kilo­me­ters, in­clud­ing nine snow trails, a ski park and a snow park for kids. With three cable cars, a sur­face lift, and four ski carpets, the re­sort is the largest in­ter­na­tional ski re­sort in Bei­jing. With a to­tal length of 5,100 me­ters and a max­i­mum drop of 238 me­ters, the re­sort caters to be­gin­ners and ad­vanced skiers, as well as snow­board­ers. Cur­rently, there are three ele­men­tary ski slopes and one in­ter­me­di­ate ski slope open to the pub­lic.
