Public gyms open for free on National Fitness Day
August 8 is the 10th National Fitness Day in China. On that day, there will be 57 public gymnasiums and stadiums, and nearly 1,000 citizens’ fitness centers, open to the public for free, Jiefang Daily reported Monday.
Fitness facilities in Shanghai have been continuously improving in recent years so that citizens can exercise more often.
Various fitness events and activities have also attracted local residents. There will be 296 free fitness skill training courses and lectures around National Fitness Day this year.
