City im­proves busi­ness en­vi­ron­ment for CIIE

In­dus­try and com­merce ad­min­is­tra­tion and mar­ket su­per­vi­sion au­thor­i­ties of Shang­hai sta­tioned at the Na­tional Ex­hi­bi­tion and Con­ven­tion cen­ter are ded­i­cated to help both Chi­nese and over­seas ex­hibitors dur­ing the up­com­ing China In­ter­na­tional Im­port Expo (CIIE).

Con­sumer rights, in­tel­lec­tual prop­erty pro­tec­tion, ad­ver­tis­ing su­per­vi­sion and trade­mark regis­tra­tion fall un­der their pur­vey, Xin­hua News Agency re­ported Wed­nes­day. Many ex­hibitors have re­ceived a bilin­gual brochure which in­tro­duces the pro­ce­dures and ma­te­ri­als re­quired to reg­is­ter a com­pany in Shang­hai.

The fastest way to start up a com­pany in Shang­hai only takes five days and three steps. A pro­fes­sional team of trade­mark pro­tec­tion and con­sult­ing ex­perts are avail­able at the venue to help for­eign ex­hibitors reg­is­ter trade­marks in China dur­ing CIIE.
