Innovation forum hosted by science-tech ministry
Over 200 Chinese and foreign scholars, scientists, entrepreneurs and government officials attended the 2018 Pujiang Innovation Forum, which is being held Shanghai from Monday to Thursday, to shed light on scientific research and innovation.
Organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology and Shanghai municipal government, the four-day forum is returning for the 10th time to the city.
With the theme of Innovation-Driven Development and Supply-Side Structural Reform in A New Age, the event features one major forum, four sub forums and 11 lectures about young innovators, regional cooperation of Guangdong-Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area and the Yangtze River Delta region, as well as forefront domains in scientific research, such as human phenome and epidemiology.
The 8th China Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition (Shanghai) – 2019 Startup in Shanghai International Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition also kicked off on Tuesday.
