Epoch String Quartet Concert – Music event
This music event in Changsha, Central China’s Hunan Province, will be performed by the Epoch String Quartet, a young quartet group established in 2021.
Two violinists, a violist and a cellist, all four members of the Epoch String Quartet are from Ensemble Epoch, a group led by the renowned violinist Wang Zhijiong.
The performance style of the Epoch String Quartet is passionate, elegant and full of tension. Although the group has only been established for a year, they have already performed in several cities across the country.
With the four players’ persistent pursuit and love for music, they have created a large number of chamber music works in a short period of time.
The audience at the concert will be able to enjoy not only Western classical pieces from great composers such as Mozart, Schubert and Tchaikovsky, but also Chinese classic music such as The Butterfly Lovers.
