‘Treasure Classics, Vitality of Spirit’ at National Art Museum of China – art exhibition
The National Art Museum of China (NAMOC) in Beijing is hosting more than 100,000 works that show the profound history and constant development of Chinese art. The new exhibition Treasure Classics, Vitality of Spirit displays artworks from acclaimed Chinese artists such as Qi Baishi, Fu Baoshi and Li Keran. While many of the artists have passed away, they remain representative figures of modern Chinese art for audiences around the world.
Showing works created by 27 artists, the exhibition also covers Western artists such as Pablo Picasso and the 20th-century painter Pierre Caron.
