-

He’ll do anything to make her stay – except leave his wife.

A man was convicted for calling in a bomb threat to a Guangzhou airport in an attempt stop his mistress from leaving him.

A Baiyun district court sentenced the man, surnamed Zhu, to six months for the July 13 incident that prompted a large- scale emergency response.

Zhu called authorities at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport claiming a terrorist had planted a bomb on a flight departing to Chongqing.

What he didn’t say was that his lover, surnamed He, was on the plane.

Police and firefighters descended on the airport in a sweep that grounded He’s flight for more than two hours.

The heartbroken hoaxer told the court he called in the threat because He was leaving him after finding out he was married.

Zhu later turned himself in to authorities, read reports.

Zhu was charged with disturbing the peace and inventing terrorist information.
