Medel out for weeks

Inter Milan’s Gary Medel is expected to be sidelined for at least three weeks after suffering a knee injury during Sunday’s 2- 2 derby draw with AC Milan. It was initially feared that Medel, 29, had damaged ligaments.

The Chile international could return to action in a matter of weeks, reports said.

Inter are ninth in Serie A, 15 points behind leaders Juventus.
