China Eastern

China Eastern announced that it has flown a charter cargo flight from Peru to Shanghai on Wednesday, the first ever direct cargo flight between the two countries. The flight’s cargo was mangos and blueberries. The airlines said that the number of charter cargo flights has increased from two in 2013 to 70 currently. It transported 6,500 tons of goods on those flights.

Hainan Airlines

The Hainan Airlines route between Beijing and Manchester, the UK, which opened in June, has reached 90 percent of load factor in the peak season.

From June 10 to October 25, the airline flew 38,500 passengers on the route, which flies four times a week.

Manchester is home to two of the world’s top soccer teams, Manchester United and Manchester City. Both clubs value their Chinese fans and have provided them with several special services, including Chinese language websites.

Cathay Dragon

Dragonair on Monday officially renamed itself Cathay Dragon, bringing the airline closer to its parent, Cathay Pacific, in a launch that aims to provide its customers with a more seamless travel experience in its regional and international networks.

The Dragonair- to- Cathay Dragon brand conversion started earlier this year, following an announcement in January. Finnair Finnair said on Tuesday that it will continue to receive four more A350 from Airbus in 2017 and the total number of the airplanes will reach 19 by the end of 2023.

In October 2015, it received the first Airbus A350 XWB aircraft, and operated the A350 XWB aircraft into long- haul service at Helsinki- Shanghai route from November 21, 2015.

In addition, it will continue to operate a seasonal route to Guangzhou, capital of South China’s Guangdong Province.
