Ping An, Grab JV

Digital healthcare services provider Ping An Health Cloud (also known as Ping An Good Doctor) and Singapore-based on-demand services provider Grab are teaming up to establish a joint venture company to deliver transforma­tive online healthcare services in Southeast Asia.

The joint venture, the first of its kind to operate regionally, will provide an array of integrated medical services such as artificial-intelligen­ce assisted online medical consultati­ons, medicine delivery and appointmen­t bookings through an online platform.

“Together with Ping An Good Doctor, we will deliver affordable healthcare through technology. This has the potential to make a huge impact in the lives of our families and communitie­s we serve” in Southeast Asia, said Anthony Tan, CEO of Grab.

Car sales in Russia

Sales of Chinese cars in Russia reached 16,000 in the first six months of 2018, a year-on-year increase of 17.2 percent. Lifan ranked first, selling more than 7,352 cars and Chery Automobile ranked second, with a total volume of 2,925.

Founded in 1992, Lifan’s total sales volume of automobile­s was 133,000 units, some 13 percent of which were sold in Russia in 2017.

It is expected that a number of new cars from China will also be on display at the upcoming Moscow Motor Show, including the Geely SX11, Haval F7 and Lifan X80.
