4-year-old escapes preschool to chat up classmate

A Hunan Province preschooler managed to escape from his kindergarten and board a city bus unnoticed only to be discovered hours later – all to talk to a girl he liked.

The 4-year-old boy had been waiting for his parents to pick him up at a Changsha preschool at 5 pm on Monday when he unlocked a fire escape door and slipped out, media reports.

Taking his chance, he cut through a residential community to finally catch up with his cute classmate, who had been picked up from the school’s front gate only minutes earlier.

She apparently did not feel the same way, telling him to “stay out of my way,” reports read.

Minutes later, the rejected Romeo was caught on camera slipping on a crowded local bus that goes to his home.

The driver only discovered his little passenger after reaching the final stop. He was back home by 8 pm. The kindergarten has since apologized to the parents and said the teacher has been punished.
