Naked swimmers become main attraction at China tourist spot

A group of men swimming in the buff was the highlight at a scenic spot in Southwest China on Tuesday as their impromptu skinny dip blocked boats of gawking tourists from passing.

The group of eight men had arrived on a tour bus at the banks of the Lijiang River in Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region when they quickly decided to take a dip.

“They took off their clothes and jumped into the water in a few seconds,” according to a witness surnamed Chen, who noted five were totally naked while the other three were in underwear.

“Although they are all male, they should have thought about the women,” Chen said.

The sausage swim fest did not stop for curious tourists taking photos or oncoming boats on the river.

A video posted on thecover.cn shows a white sightseeing boat steering carefully to avoid hitting the swimmers.

Guilin Tourism Bureau authorities will investigate the case, an employee told thecover.cn.
