-

A little girl living with leukemia saw her wish to ‘get married’ come true right in her hospital room with her loving dad stepping in as the groom.

Four-year-old Yaxin was first diagnosed in 2016 and currently receiving treatment for myelogenuos leukemia (AML) at Boren Hospital in Beijing.

On November 17, she and dad Yuan Dongfang held a ceremony in her hospital room.

Yuan said his daughter made the request recently following a particularly painful round of radiotherapy.

“Daddy, I know I can only get married when I grow up. But... I am afraid that I might not be able to wait that long,” she told Yuan.

The photos have since touched many hearts on social media, with many sending their best wishes to Yaxiu.
