Shanghai biomedicine plan

Shanghai has unveiled a three-year action plan to build high-end manufacturing parks for biological medicine by 2020, as the city seeks to become a biomedical innovation hub, local officials said on Thursday.

The parks will be coordinated at the city level to cooperate with Zhangjiang Pharma Valley, a State-level biomedicine industrial base, and maintain high-end and green development, the officials said.
