sleep in

睡懒觉 (shu#l2nji3o)

A: How was your Spring Festival holiday?

春节假期你过的怎么样啊? (ch$nji9 ji3q~ n@ gu7 de z0nmey3ng `?)

B: It wasn’t good at all. I usually don’t have time to rest when I’m working so I just wanted to sleep in but I kept getting woken up by the sound of fireworks outside.

一点也不好,平时上班没时间休息,我只是想好好睡个懒觉,结果总是被外面 的鞭炮声吵醒。 (y~di2n y0 b&h2o, p!ngsh! sh3ngb`n m9ish!ji`n xi$x~, w6 zh@sh# xi2ng h2oh2o shu# g- l2nji3o, ji9gu6 z6ngsh# b-i w3imi3n de bi`np3o sh8ng ch2ox@ng.)

A: I was pretty much the same, but what woke me up was a bunch of relatives and screaming children that I didn’t even know.

我和你差不多,只不过吵醒我的是许多我根本不认识的亲戚和吵闹的孩子们。

B: Heading home means having to meet with relatives and friends, but then you don’t get any rest. Celebrating Chinese New Year is really tiring.

好不容易回到家还得到处走亲访友,再加上休息不好,过年真是太累了。
